Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 July 2026

These terms govern the transfers you book with AlpRoads. Please read them before booking — by completing a booking you accept them.

1. Who you are contracting with

AlpRoads GmbH
Salzmannstraße 152
48159 Münster
Germany

Email: [email protected]  ·  Phone: +371 2020 7474

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean AlpRoads GmbH; “you” means the person making the booking. Where you book on behalf of other passengers, you confirm you have their authority to do so and you are responsible for the booking.

2. What we provide

We arrange private road transfers between airports, stations, hotels and resorts. Transfers are private: the vehicle is yours alone for the journey and is not shared with other parties.

We currently operate within Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland, including journeys between those countries. If a location outside that area is entered on the booking form, no results will be returned and the booking cannot be completed.

Transfers are performed by us or by carefully selected partner operators. All drivers hold the licences and insurance required in the country of operation.

3. Making a booking

  • A booking must be made at least 2 hours before the pick-up time. For journeys during peak periods we strongly recommend booking further ahead.
  • Your booking is a request until we confirm it. The contract is formed when we send you a booking confirmation by email carrying a booking reference.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us — in particular the pick-up address, the date and time, the flight number, the number of passengers and the amount of luggage. We cannot be held responsible for a failed pick-up caused by incorrect details.
  • All times shown relate to local time at the pick-up location.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are quoted in euro (EUR) and include VAT where it applies, all tolls, and standard luggage.
  • The price quoted at the time of booking is the price you pay. It does not change afterwards unless you change the booking.
  • Depending on the option shown at checkout, you will either pay in full at the time of booking or pay a deposit of 30% with the balance due before travel. Your confirmation states which applies.
  • We accept the payment methods offered at checkout. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we never receive or store your full card number.
  • Extras such as child seats, ski or snowboard carriage, additional stops or waiting beyond the free period are shown separately during booking or, where agreed later, invoiced afterwards.

5. Changes and cancellation

Cancellation by you

  • Cancel at least 72 hours before the pick-up time and you receive a full refund.
  • Cancel less than 72 hours before the pick-up time and no refund is due, because the vehicle and driver have by then been committed to your journey.
  • To cancel, use your account or contact us by email or phone with your booking reference. A cancellation takes effect when we receive it, not when you send it.

Changes by you

Ask us as early as you can. We will do our best to accommodate a change of time, address or passenger count free of charge, subject to availability. Where a change increases the price — a longer route or a larger vehicle — the difference is payable before travel.

No-show

If you do not appear at the agreed pick-up point within the free waiting period and do not contact us, the booking is treated as a no-show and no refund is due.

Cancellation by us

We may cancel where conditions make the journey unsafe — severe weather, road closures, avalanche risk — or where a vehicle becomes unavailable and no replacement can be found. In that case you receive a full refund. We are not liable for onward costs such as missed flights or unused accommodation.

6. Airport pick-ups, flights and waiting time

  • Give us your flight number when booking. We monitor arrivals and adjust the pick-up to the actual landing time at no extra cost.
  • For airport pick-ups we include 60 minutes of free waiting from the time your flight lands, which allows for immigration and baggage reclaim.
  • For all other pick-ups we include 15 minutes of free waiting from the agreed time.
  • Waiting beyond the free period is charged at the rate stated in your confirmation.
  • If your flight is diverted, or you miss it, tell us as soon as you can. We will try to rearrange the transfer, but a new journey may have to be booked and paid for.

7. Luggage, equipment and passengers

  • Each passenger may bring one suitcase and one item of hand luggage as standard. Tell us at the time of booking about anything more — a larger vehicle may be needed and the price may differ.
  • Skis, snowboards and similar equipment are carried free of charge, but must be declared when booking so we send a vehicle that can take them.
  • Child seats are available on request and must be requested when booking. The law on child restraints differs between the countries we serve; we will fit what the law of the country requires.
  • The number of passengers must not exceed the capacity of the booked vehicle. A driver may refuse to carry passengers beyond the legal seating capacity, and no refund is due in that case.
  • Assistance animals are always carried. For other animals, ask us before booking.

8. Conduct during the journey

Seat belts must be worn by all passengers where fitted. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted in our vehicles. A driver may end a journey where a passenger behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive or illegal, and no refund is due. You are responsible for any damage or soiling caused by your party beyond fair wear and tear.

9. Delays and liability

We plan generous journey times, but road transport in the Alps is affected by weather, traffic and road closures that are outside our control. We cannot guarantee arrival by a specific time and we recommend allowing a comfortable margin before a departing flight.

We are liable for loss you suffer as a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any one booking is limited to the price paid for that booking, except where the law does not allow such a limit — in particular for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Please check the vehicle for your belongings before leaving it. We are not responsible for property left behind, though we will always try to reunite you with it.

10. Complaints

If something goes wrong, tell us as soon as possible and in any event within 28 days of the journey, at [email protected], quoting your booking reference. We will acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to resolve the matter within 14 days.

11. Your data

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the cookies this site uses are described in our Cookie Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by German law. Where you book as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country in which you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and, as a rule, do not do so.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one published when you made it, and we will keep a copy available on request.
